Antix aka Fiord at Sandwiches'

Sandwiches presents

Stereotype

featuring

Antix live - aka. Fiord

with
Vernon, Johnny Kingdom and Daymon

Friday 25 September

Sandwiches in association with Stereotype are amped to bring you one of New Zealand’s best underground progressive and techno artists, Barton Strom of ANTIX.

Taking time out from touring, Barton joins the Stereotype DJs Vernon, Daymon, and Johnny Kingdom for a quality night of cutting edge music.

Since their first release in 2003, brothers Barton and Hayden Strom have had a selection of critically acclaimed albums. With a string of killer live performances their infectious bass lines and enticing grooves have helped the brothers build a solid reputation as one of the most in demand progressive and techno acts on the planet.

Last year the boys raised the bar even higher with their album WANDERERS and the follow up DVD/CD WANDERING - a collection of remixes and documentary footage from their last US tour.

2008 started out with a bang with ANTIX being nominated and then placed runner up for the best in their game on the Beatport Music Awards.

And if that’s not all, they also produce and remix as FIORD with releases on Dieb Audio, Sprout, Underwater, Therapy Music and Whoop! With support and high praise from Hernan Cattaneo, D-nox, Frank Beckers, Anthony Pappa, Jim Rivers and John Digweed the future is definitely moving Fiord.

If you love progressive and deep techno, this is an evening not to be missed.

Fresh tunes. Fresh blood.'

We have some spacey sounds here for your listening pleasure.

eSKay is a 21 year old producer from Irvine, California. He started producing in 2006 making covers and a few original tracks.

eSkay has only been producing dance music for about a year and has sent us a couple of tracks in what we calls a techno/progressive house/electrohouse vein. Check them out below, download a copy and tell your friends.

eSkay says, “If you like my tracks feel free to let me know whenever you feel like wherever you feel like!”

You can do just that by hitting him up on his myspace page…

Episode 7 “Going Loopy” mixed by Tapan 0

Going Loopy'

Chilli JAM episode 7 is here to take you deep down, underground.

Our boy Tapan has sent us this mix all the way from merry ol’ England. No jam and scones here though, this is house music - deep, tech, rhythmic and hypnotic house music!

Tapan has been in the game for a while and has scene music fads come and go, so you can understand where his nonchalant description of the mix comes from.

“It’s what I class as techno, but others may argue its house, tech house or whatevers? Fuken’ stick that pigeon in whatever hole you wish! Its some hypno-techish house beats on a uk/european tip.”

Enjoy.
